Right now, all patients who need surgery go to one of ten operating rooms – whether it’s an emergency, major operation or minor surgery. Our vision is to create a Day Surgery and Procedure Centre so that patients who need minor surgery or a scoping procedure can get faster care while reserving the main operating rooms for major surgeries and emergencies.
What your gift can do
Your support can build a specialized area for same-day procedures that will triple the number of patients who can receive care. Creating this dedicated area allows us to share resources in a new space for same-day patients – this means we can care for more of our neighbours quickly, while freeing-up our operating rooms for urgent cases.
