Thank you so much for your interest and support of St. Joseph's Health Centre. Our community is pulling together to help our doctors and staff care for this community and it's making a difference. Helen Keller was right when she said, "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much."
Over the past few months, we have unveiled our renovated children’s floor and CIBC Just for Kids Clinic, put new technology in use, and are so much closer to realizing new ways to care for patients in better space.
This is because of you. You’re helping us keep a very important promise – one that was made almost 100 years ago by the Sisters of St. Joseph. This Promise is to be there for you and your family, and your friends and neighbours in our community.
We make promises at our most important occasions – when we get married, when our children are baptised, and when we become citizens. We also make our children promise when we want them to take a commitment they are making very seriously.
At St. Joe’s we’ve made a very big promise – and one that we take incredibly seriously. We’ve promised to be the best health centre we can be so this community can be one of the healthiest in Canada. To do this, we are launching a $70 million campaign of the same name, Promise.
You may have seen a bit more of St. Joe’s recently – on transit shelters and in social media. We want to share our Promise widely so you can learn about the many ways you are helping us take care of our community.
When you give, you are supporting great care for you, your family and neighbours. I encourage you to read about our campaign throughout this site, and the difference donors like you have made already. When we come together as a community, we can do so much.
Thank you for helping keep the Promise.
