Tom and Anne Karda

Tom and Anne Karda have a long history with St. Joseph’s Health Centre.

“We’ve lived in this community for many years and St. Joe’s has been a part of our lives during both happy and difficult times. I remember being at St. Joe’s in 1971 when my mother was very sick. I will always remember the young doctor in the Intensive Care Unit who stayed with her throughout the night like she was a member of his family” says Anne.

St. Joe’s saved her life. She was hospitalized for weeks and the Sisters, nurses and doctors were always caring and encouraging,” says Anne. “Our second child was born here too – and that’s something you cherish.”
