“Exceptional care inspired me to give back”, Marilyn Lightstone’s story

“I received exceptional care and wanted to give back as a way of saying thank you.”

Marilyn Lightstone is recognized across Canada as an award-winning actress and artist, you’ll probably know her as the voice of Vision TV or as a radio host of Nocturne. At St. Joe’s, she’s known for her generosity in supporting health care for our west-end community, the community she calls home.

“The older I get, the more important St. Joe’s becomes to me. It’s so meaningful to have a place close to home, where they know me and my history.”

Marilyn cares deeply about St. Joe’s and supports us in the many ways she can – by making regular donations to support better care, by choosing to remember St. Joe’s in her Will and with a special donation of art to brighten our patient areas. “It is wonderful to do what we can to help lift the spirits of those needing care,” she says. “I am happy to give back to my community however I can.”
