Throwdown

The St. Joe’s Neighbourhood Throwdown is a high-energy, community-driven evening that brings together over 400 west-end residents for a night of live music, local food, and fundraising in support of St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Held at Henderson Brewery, the event features three bands representing local neighbourhoods and areas of care at the hospital, alongside a lively silent auction and a wide selection of food and drink from local favourites.

More than just a night out, the Throwdown is a celebration of community and a shared commitment to strengthening care close to home. Since 2020, the event has raised more than $300,000, with proceeds supporting priority areas such as surgical care, mental health programs for young adults, and the future Emergency Department at St. Joe’s—helping ensure patients and families have access to the care they need, when they need it most.
