Canvassers for St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation are currently visiting neighbourhoods in Toronto’s west end, providing information and asking for one-time and monthly donations. You may also see one of the canvassers on the street in your area.
The canvassers will be wearing purple vests identified with a St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation logo. They will also be carrying materials about St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation and how donors make an impact on the healthcare services provided to Toronto’s west-end community. 
Canvassers can accept one-time and monthly donations, made through a secure online portal on their handheld device. For your safety and the safety of the canvassers, they cannot accept cash donations.
St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation is a registered charity, therefore your donations are tax deductible. Tax receipts for monthly donors are issued once a year, at the beginning of the beginning of the following year. Tax receipts for one-time donations over $20 are sent within two weeks.
