WomenPromise

Join a diverse community of women and help St. Joe’s keep the Promise

It was over 100 years ago that a group of caring and determined women decided to make a Promise and make a difference to the health of our west-end community. These women were the Sisters of St. Joseph, an order of nuns who came to Toronto to help deal with a diphtheria epidemic and later founded our hospital in 1921. Today, WomenPromise, a group of west-end female business and community leaders, build upon the legacy and impact of women’s philanthropy at St. Joe’s

THE IMPACT :  In our inaugural year, WomenPromise100 raised over $250,000 to support highest priority needs in two important areas of care: the Emergency Department and The Geoffrey H. Wood Foundation Centre of Excellence in Breast Cancer Screening & Treatment

Our Goal this year is to raise over $275,000
Join us and be part of a group of west-end women making an impact together!.

WHO? Women who care about our west-end community and share an interest in helping St. Joe’s care for our families, friends and neighbours.

HOW? Make your own Promise by making a gift to one of our most urgent priorities – expanding the Emergency Department or enhancing mental health care supports.

WHY? Your support of St. Joe’s is needed now more than ever. As a member, you’ll also have the opportunity to network with other like-minded women and hear health care thought leaders speak on these care areas.

*Note all members with cumulative overall giving of $10,000 will be recognized on the donor wall. **Multi-year gift commitments help St. Joe’s plan for the future.  Gifts of $30,000+ can be recognized on a plaque in the Health Centre.

Donor benefits include

*Being part of a women’s group that makes an impact together
*Access to health centre speakers
*Exclusive invite to a WomenPromise Celebration Event taking place in Feb. 2023
*WomenPromise Impact report

Looking to deepen your engagement with St. Joe’s?  We also have opportunities to get more involved.
