The 7th Annual Salah Bachir Show

The Salah Bachir show raises over 1.5 Million in support of St. Joe's

More than 350 people came together at The Ritz-Carlton for the 7th Annual Salah Bachir Show, on November 27th to help Salah Bachir raise an amazing $1.5 million to celebrate our 100th anniversary and kick start the transformation of St. Joe’s.

A big thank you to Salah Bachir, Honourary Chairs Tamara & Chris Bratty and all our guests. For over 100 years St. Joe’s has provided the best possible care to its community of over 500,000 people living in the west end. Recently, the provincial government committed over $1 billion to help transform St. Joe’s with a major redevelopment.

The Salah Bachir Show celebrated the Ontario government’s investment and the exciting plans for St.Joe’s future. The star-studded gala featured an unforgettable performance by Grammy and Juno Award winner, Sarah McLachlan who performed many of her greatest hits in support of St. Joe’s.

“There is so much need in our communities and it gives me great pleasure to help,” said Salah Bachir. “St. Joe’s is a particular passion of mine because as a member of the west-end community, I want to help my neighbours get the best health care possible.” “Salah has an amazingly generous spirit and great passion to make our patients’ experience at St. Joseph’s better,” said Maria Dyck, President and CEO, St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation. “Chris and Tamara also help us in so many ways to improve care.  We are deeply grateful to Salah, Chris and Tamara for making our gala a record-breaking night to remember.
